Accountant

Job Description:

A. Accountabilities
Ensure for the financial statements are compliance with IFRS, PRC GAAP and HK GAAP;
Ensure the accounting activities are complied with finance Internal Control and internal processes in accordance with
statutory and corporate requirements.

B. Main activities
Strategic activities
1. Implementation of GAAP changing under the guidance provided by headquarters while considering local
feasibility;
2. Implementation for financial performance improvement initiatives.

Client related activities
1. Address issues raised from monthly reporting and take the initiative to explore solutions;
2. Engage in cross-function projects to provide support and in-charge for implementation in finance.

Operational activities
Supporting accounting works for Airbus Chengdu and HK entities:
1. Perform day-to-day posting of general ledger entries, including completion of monthly closing and financial
reporting package, preparing supporting working papers for accounting entries posted, conclusions reached and
critically evaluating the information supplied by other groups to ensure the transactional entries are properly
supported;
2. Make accruals, prepayments, provisions and other period-end adjustments;
3. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in Month-end Closing and Year-end closing;
4. Program management including revenue recognition, overdue AR/Unbill management, project closing etc
5. Conduct inventory stock-in management;
6. Collaborate with external auditors and take ownership for achieving sign-off on accounts for the annual
statutory audit;
7. Manage China tax calculations, estimate and report accruals etc.
8. Local statistic reporting (e.g., legal entity monthly statistical reporting; etc.)
9. Work on continuous improvement programs to standardize and improve the efficiency of accounting
process across various entities in China Region.

C. Outputs
Financial Outputs
1. Finance reports for each Company including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow and Management Report;
2. Develop and prepare Tax Accounting calculations on monthly basis;
3. Tax calculations package to tax team;
4. Provide the business with required information for physical inventory and assets, and respond to inquiries.

D. Input
Qualifications 
• Education: Bachelor or master degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or relevant majors;
• Experience: Five years or above related working experiences in accounting area
• Basic Skills: Familiar with IFRS, China GAAP, HK GAAP and China tax regulations
• Certifications: CICPA or other CPA certificates

Ability
• Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders;
• Good command of written and spoken English;
• Good knowledge of SAP systems;
• Good knowledge of tax exemption, credit and refund for exporting business;
• Self-driven results oriented with strong ability to multitask and organize priorities;
• Excellent planning analytical and interpersonal skills.
