STS Aviation Services is seeking an Aircraft Billing Specialist to join our Programs Department in Melbourne, Florida. This position plays a vital role in ensuring accurate billing processes, meeting contractual requirements, and maintaining organized financial records. Key Responsibilities
- Perform billing processes for assigned customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contracts.
- Monitor system data to meet billing deadlines within contractual timeframes.
- Ensure all services rendered are invoiced in accordance with customer agreements.
- Maintain organized records to facilitate reporting and calculation of invoice totals.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Contracts and Billing, internal departments, and external customer representatives to address billing inquiries and requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- Associate’s degree required.
- Preferred background in business or medical billing.
- 2-4 years of prior work experience in billing or related roles.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong focus on Excel.
- Must demonstrate advanced knowledge of pivot tables, HLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, filters, and formula troubleshooting.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals across departments and organizations.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
Working Environment
- Office environment, working closely with the Manager of Contracts and Billing, internal teams, and external customer representatives.
