Your Role
As Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for providing specialised knowledge and supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager with driving continuous improvement and a strong internal control environment. This role contributes towards internal and external reporting obligations and detailed analysis driving a results focussed organisation. A valued team member within the Business Management team with a primary focus on accurate and predictable reporting (internal & external), consolidated financial planning and analysis processes and compliance internal policies and accounting standards.
About You
We are seeking a degree-qualified professional in Accounting, with essential CPA/CA qualifications. Your independent, highly motivated, and dynamic nature makes you an effective team member capable of demonstrating leadership qualities. With a commitment to continuous improvement and change management, you will be an asset to our team.
You will bring expertise in technical aspects of reporting and analysis, including balance sheet and P&L item analysis, identification of accounting issues, and implementing process improvements in daily activities. Your ability to assist in the preparation of consolidated P&L and cash flow forecasts, along with other management reports, will be crucial. As a seasoned professional, you will also support the team in reconciliations, ensuring the timely clearing of reconciliation items and providing assistance on various ad hoc projects and duties as needed. Further, you will be proficient in Power BI or other reporting tools.
