About Us: Dassault Falcon Jet is launching an elite Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility at the Melbourne Orlando International Airport (KMLB) in Melbourne, Florida. Our cutting-edge complex will service customers across North and South America and beyond, accommodating all current Falcon models—including the new, ultra-long-range Falcon 10X, the largest purpose-built business jet. We can perform major maintenance and modifications on up to 18 Falcon models simultaneously.
The Opportunity: We are seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to work closely with financial and operational data to support our MRO operations. This pivotal role involves managing key performance indicators, analyzing and evaluating financial results, and assisting in the preparation of the monthly management reporting package.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyze monthly results and provide actionable recommendations to senior management to ensure financial goals are met
- Assist in the preparation of company monthly financial statements
- Help prepare annual department and consolidated company budgets; develop and update monthly/quarterly forecasts as needed
- Reconcile balance accounts and prepare monthly account analysis; research and resolve reconciliation differences monthly
- Manage month-end close activities, including posting and reviewing journal entries
- Oversee Fixed Asset and capital appropriations management for multiple facilities
- Develop dashboards to monitor KPIs and other management tools to drive efficiencies and business growth across the organization
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What Were Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum of five years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in SAP or a related ERP system
- Extensive knowledge of general financial and cost accounting principles
- Strong understanding of and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
