You will be accountable for utilizing advanced CAD software and techniques to facilitate the design and development of our process control software and outcome-based solutions. Your expertise in CAD design and engineering will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our business.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and youll work out of our Tulsa, OK location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on our UOP business unit by providing advanced CAD facilitation, optimizing design efficiency, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of our CAD designs. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement in CAD design processes. Your attention to detail and ability to solve complex problems will be instrumental in meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review of related customer specifications and standards required for design work.
- Value engineering of system layout and design to reduce complexity and cost.
- Design and development of 3D models using mark-ups, layouts, sketches and design information from process and structural engineering to generate fabrication drawings.
- Manage budgeted hours and schedule for assigned work.
- Coordinate a team of designers to successful completion of a project.

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in CAD design and engineering
• Proficiency in advanced CAD software such as CADWorx, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA
• Strong knowledge of engineering ethics, design standards, and industry best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and thoughtful skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
WE VALUE
• Masters degree in Engineering or a related field
• Experience with advanced CAD techniques and tools
• Practical knowledge of equipment, applicable local and international codes such as ASME, and basic working knowledge of carbon and stainless metallurgy and fabrication techniques used for the equipment.
