Position Summary: 

The People Business Partner and Crew Relations Teams function as the point of contact for human resources support in both our Blue Cities and Support Centers.  The teams support leadership and Crewmembers in their HR needs and support People Department initiatives to align with the Company’s mission and values. The Analyst Crew Relations will interpret data from attrition to discipline and operational trends to design systems and reports. They will have the ability to identify and map trends to support the People Business Partner and Crew Relations Team. Maintaining local databases and ensuring data quality will be required. The Analyst is also responsible for constantly improving how our People Business Partners can use data effectively to help influence and impact change within the organization and customer groups based on our internal data.

 

The Analyst Crew Relations likes to directly work with data and metrics for the majority of their work partnering with the team to ensure stakeholders and customer groups get the insights they need in a people-focused, data-driven organization. The Analyst is willing to learn and build expertise in new technologies and subject domains for continuous improvement of our data practices.

 

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain Crew Relations and People Business Partner databases to effectively collect, track, and report on team metrics
  • Effectively analyze internal data to identify workgroup or organizational trends to effectuate change
  • Partnering with the team to enhance data collection procedures to ensure consistent and reliable data
  • Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
  • Increase awareness of team trends through the creation and execution of data dashboards and reports
  • Work cross functionally with People Business Partner Managers to understand workgroup specific data needs - developing new dashboards, reports, and presentations to support their customer groups
  • Conduct analysis on HR metrics, supporting and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations
  • Assist with running cadenced reports and analysis
  • Other responsibilities based on arising needs

 

Job Requirements:
:
  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Statistics, Human Resources, or other related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous related work experience
  • One (1) year of HR or Analyst experience managing and working with data and metrics
  • High level of organization & attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills, including Excel, SharePoint, Teams and PowerApps
  • Effective written, verbal and presentation skills 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
  • Strong research, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to be flexible, multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Two (2) years of HR or Analyst experience managing and working with data and metrics
  • One (1) year of experience with applied data analysis and or systems
  • Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data
  • Experience using SharePoint, PowerApps, SAP, Tableau, or another tool to develop dashboards
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, including ability to present complex data and analytics to large and diverse audiences using simple language

 

Crewmember Expectations:  

  • Regular attendance and punctuality  
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice 
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance 
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation:

  • The base pay range for this position is between $50,000.00 and $89,600.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
