The Program Controls Analyst will support the F35 DAS (Distributed Aperture System) development programs within the EO/IR Solutions (EOIRS) product line of the Advanced Products and Solutions (APS) business with financial cost review, financial reporting, presentations and other strategic analysis. This position is an excellent opportunity to learn program finance fundamentals.   

Primary responsibilities include partnering with the Program Manager and Control Account Managers/ Integrated Product Team Leads (CAMs/IPTLs) to provide personal involvement in the successful execution of multiple contracts. You will ensure that all required financial inputs (including reporting) are reviewed, analyzed and submitted on time.

What You Will Do

  • Responsibilities include variance analysis, data reviewing and reporting, Earned Value (EV), Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) development, and latest revised estimate (LRE) development.  Individual shall also be responsible for providing the internal financial planning (e.g., bookings, sales, profit and cash forecasting and analysis) and billings as well as proactive management of contract funding.
  • Assist in the coordination, development, and delivery of monthly financial CDRLs including EVM and monthly external customer reporting.
  • Program start up and implementation support inclusive of contract modification processing, project setup, and NWA management
  • In addition, this position is responsible for actively identifying risks that affect cost and/or schedule.
  • You will also be responsible for assisting in proposal activities, such as providing actuals reports to support BOEs and gate packages. 

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
  • Experience analyzing and reporting data
  • Experience with tools such as SAP suite including APEX, PRISM, RPlan and AO Reporting and Microsoft Excel

  • Good written and verbal skills, including demonstrated ability to present information to Finance lead analyst and manager
  • Good computer skills, which include proficiency with Microsoft Excel functions (Pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
  • Exposure to major financial metrics, Bookings / Sales / Profit / Cash

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
