Position Summary

Located at the Fort Lauderdale Inspiration Center (FLIC) in South Florida, the budding epi-center of the travel and hospitality industry, JetBlue Travel Products works hard to integrate personalization and technology into the airline and the broader travel journey for all JetBlue customers.

 

The Analyst, Paisly Commercial Development supports the Sr. Lead, Paisly Commercial Development with a wide range of projects for Paisly with a focus on customer acquisition and customer experience from booking, to servicing, to on the trip experience. The ideal candidate is motivated, energetic, enjoys working on multiple projects simultaneously from start to completion and is comfortable working on a wide range of initiatives. Projects will include data analysis, new product/partner onboarding, merchandising, project management, User Experience (UX) enhancements, testing and more.

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support the development of Paisly Commercial strategy through use of data analysis, customer research, and competitive research.
  • Drive awareness, adoption and revenue for Paisly through creating new programs and initiatives, identifying promotional opportunity and testing.
  • Support of customer acquisition efforts including but not limited to referral programs, identifying new customer base opportunities and more.
  • Work closely with the legal team to ensure all customer experience is compliant.
  • Use data and reporting to identify booking and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Technology team on cross-functional projects to ensure we find solutions that both put the customer first and are technologically feasible.
  • Identify and track all steps needed to bring new customer experiences to market from start to completion across cross-functional teams including but not limited to Legal, Finance, Data Analytics, Marketing, and JetBlue Airways’ teams.
  • Communicate and collaborate with key business partners as needed for ad-hoc cooperative projects to ensure goals are aligned and being met.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new processes as they are developed.
  • Conduct customer research (i.e., listening to calls, surveys, focus groups) to further understand Paisly’s customers.
  • Act as a role model by being highly engaged and an active participant during JTP leadership and team meetings. 
  • Other complex projects and duties as assigned. 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience.
  • One (1) year of commercial and/or marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with revenue analysis, marketing strategy, and managing customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Comfortable presenting ideas in front of large groups including leadership.
  • Ability to manage and work within budgets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to act as a meticulously organized, self-directed and creative problem solver that meets aggressive deadlines by following processes/procedures.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent at proofing written and visual creative concepts before B2C launch.
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
  • Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. 

 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of commercial and/or marketing experience.
  • Knowledge of ecommerce and travel industry.
  • Ability to think creatively and solve problems autonomously.
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of HTML.

 

Crewmember Expectations

  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice.
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance.
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.
  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion and Fun.
