Job Summary

The International BDR works under the Regional Director EMEA guidance in establishing objectives with periodic review of progress against goals. Individuals must have excellent communication and relationship skills. Independent work is required, and a self-starter personality with a proven track record of both technical and emotionally driven sales success is essential. The ideal candidate starts out by demonstrating excellent flight skills. Flying responsibilities include safe and competent flying from the right seat in all legal weather (Night, IFR, Rain/Snow) with a prospective buyer in the left seat. This position is located in Europe with Germany/BENELUX preferred, and onboarding may take place at one of Cirrus enterprise locations. Candidates must be willing to relocate into their sales territory.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Uses all appropriate resources to ensure the maximum level of Territory Development and Cirrus Aircraft Sales.
  • Works with stakeholders within Cirrus Sales and Marketing to leverage existing resources for territory application.
  • Engages Territory Health implementation.
    • Data driven approach to region specific territory health implementation.
      • Aligning Cirrus best practices with local regulatory nuance.
      • Aligning Cirrus partner network with Cirrus Corporate strategy and goals while accounting for local issues.
      • Aligns SFDC partner compliance with Cirrus Corporate strategy and goals.
  • Develops framework within which to analyze Direct vs. CSA opportunities on a territory-by-territory basis.
    • Research historical cost of sale data and compares to current global sales environment.
  • Guides Global Sustainability/Green initiative policy.
    • Evaluates regulatory nuance vs Cirrus Corporate Goals.
    • Makes recommendations for Cirrus compliance across various markets and regulatory environments.
    • Leverages common resources for global success.
  • Conducts Region/Country specific analysis of Finance and Insurance options.
  • Works in Concert with Cirrus Government Relations team to identify and support international specific issues.
  • Provides Direct Sales Support for Regional Director Team.
  • Manages the network of distribution affiliates in their respective territories. These responsibilities are:
    • Works with Cirrus affiliates to establish best operating practices for their company.
    • Creates and implements processes to evaluate partner prospects through appropriate background research on prospects needs, financial condition and key personnel.
    • Coordinates and follows up special requests from prospects and customers with appropriate departments and personnel in Cirrus Marketing.
    • Prepares and submits in a timely fashion appropriate reports as determined by the Regional Director, which includes keeping SalesForce.com accurate and up to date for all territory contacts.
  • Performs event planning and support to include demonstration flights at the direction of Regional Director.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.   • FAA or EASA Private Pilot and Instrument Certificate REQUIRED – Commercial and CFII preferred
  • FAA or EASA 1st or 2nd Class Medical required
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person")
  • 5+ years of Senior Executive level prior sales desired.
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication in English.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Must possess the ability to “close"
