The Business Insights & Analytics (BI&A) department seeks individuals who appreciate challenging, deadline-driven problems in a rapidly changing environment.
The Business Insights Analyst, Senior will leverage advanced analytical techniques and methods while working closely with cross-functional teams to develop predictive models, perform statistical analyses, and create data-driven strategies that impact business decisions and outcomes. This role requires strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to effectively translate complex data concepts into strategic business actions.
The BI&A mission is to deliver exceptional analytical insights and solutions to challenges throughout NetJets, and the team aims to be the trusted business partner for leaders at all levels of the company for analytical solutions, decision support, and strategic insights. This is a high-visibility, high-impact position.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Data Science, Model Development, and Analysis: Lead the development and implementation of advanced models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights.
Collaboration: Partner with leaders throughout the business to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that support decision-making processes. Communicate results effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Innovation and Expertise: Provide recommendations and insight into the use of advanced modeling and analytics techniques. Work with individuals across data teams and in the business to create patterns which ensure successful deployment of analytical products and advanced models.
Business Impact: Translate findings into strategic recommendations that drive business performance and contribute to the achievement of organizational goals.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest data science trends, tools, and techniques to ensure the application of cutting-edge methods in your work.
Mentorship and Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

Education: Post-graduate degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in data science or a similar role, with a proven track record of building predictive models and delivering data-driven insights. Individuals with additional experience will be considered at the Lead Analyst level.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with SQL for data manipulation. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
Experience with Snowflake and with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or equivalent preferred. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and version control tools (GitHub, BitBucket) are a plus.
Non-Technical Skills: Must possess strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex data concepts to a diverse audience.
