The Business Systems Analyst II (BSA) is responsible for overseeing the technical execution of one to many projects and tasks in varying IT areas such as application development, application support, systems administration, business intelligence, network administration and others. In addition to coordination and oversight of technical tasks during the execution phase of the project, the Business Systems Analyst II (BSA) will be responsible for gathering and documenting customer requirements by interviewing and understanding customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT practices and terminology in order to be knowledgeable enough to know when to raise questions in order to correctly drive the project execution tasks to completion. The candidate will need to be bright, imaginative, and a capable technologist with strong communication skills, specifically seeking an environment where they will impact the direction of the organization, and be a key contributor to overall success of the business. The pace is exceptionally fast at SNC, and our dynamic environment will see many new projects in the coming year. The Business Systems Analyst II (BSA) will need to be agile and flexible, as changes will be certain and frequent.

Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and develop / refine user stories with a variety of stakeholders and end-users
- Clearly document and communicate system requirements, testing requirements and end-user impacts
- Decipher complex system workflows and user / system interactions
- Document and organize meeting minutes, action items and artifacts to support system requirements and key decisions
- Schedule and facilitate productive meetings with multiple stakeholders
- Test / validate software
Qualifications The Employee Must Have
- Bachelors Degree in a related field with at least 2 or more years of relevant experience
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Experience deciphering complex workflows an user / system interactions
- Ability to document and organize meeting minutes and artifacts
- Ability to schedule and facilitate meetings with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications We Prefer
- Ability to analyze business systems and/or business processes to identify user needs, document requirements, and address process improvements
- Ability to obtain a Scrum Master certification
- Strong knowledge of requirements documentation tools such as Visio, Word, Excel, Jira, and/or Azure DevOps
- Experience with data mapping and documentation of system integration metadata and touchpoints necessary for implementation
- Basic experience with writing SQL and understanding the basics of table querying for use in documenting data requirements
- Strong knowledge of project planning and execution, using tools such as MS Project
- Understanding of analysis and software development lifecycle methodologies
- Strong presentation, facilitation, collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills
- Experience testing / validating software
- Experience with Supply Chain and Source-to-Pay Software (e.g. Ivalua, Coupa, Ariba or other systems)
- Experience reviewing and advising to process and system improvements in an automated environment
- SmartSheet and MS SharePoint experience preferred
- Participation in a culture of excellence and teamwork
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up like atmosphere
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $82,039.23 - $112,803.95. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
