Computer-Aided Facilities Specialist

Why This is an Exciting Role:

As Computer-Aided Facilities Specialist at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible for supporting our government client in St. Louis, MO or Springfield, VA and will serve as a subject matter expert on the implementation of computer applications and associated data that are used in facilities management activities and functions of the client’s real property portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a background in the operation and management of U.S. Government, Department of Defense (DoD) and/or Intelligence Community (IC) facilities and the multiple computer applications – ARCHIBUS, Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit – used across the full spectrum of facilities planning, management and operations activities.

  • Design, develop and test products in various Web Central Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM), Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS), and Building Information Modeling (BIM) applications, to include ARCHIBUS, Autodesk AutoCAD, and Autodesk Revit.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on strategies, techniques, and solutions to effectively utilize applications and data in the management of complex facilities and facilities systems.
  • Support the implementation of approved solutions to utilize applications and data for facilities management activities.
  • Communicate with clients to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
  • Develop and document technical specifications from customers requirements.
  • Use industry-standard tools, technology, programming techniques and workflow rules within ARCHIBUS, Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit to generate CAD and BIM products.
  • Create and update floor-plan drawings utilizing the existing integration of ARCHIBUS and Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Communicate objectives and schedules to management, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Support creation and implementation of user documentation including guides and whitepapers for customers.
  • Provide input to project schedules.
  • Provide input to software development tracking tool (Jira or similar) on tasks and required level of effort.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
    • This position requires a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities operations/planning/management, or a related field, including a demonstrated understanding of the Facility Management industry, processes and technology
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the ARCHIBUS Integrated Workplace management System (IWMS), Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit, or equivalent systems and applications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; comfortable with interacting with department heads and managers
  • Comprehensive computer knowledge and understanding of the full suite of Microsoft Office programs
  • Proven briefing, project management, organizational, and communication skills

Desired Qualifications: ​

  • Professional Degree in Engineering or Architecture, or a related field
  • Autodesk Certified Professional in AutoCAD for Design and Drafting
  • Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Architectural Design
  • Certified Project Management Professional
  • Working knowledge with Web Central APIs
  • Working knowledge of Oracle

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations.

Saint Louis, MO - $105,000 - $120,000

Springfield, VA - $110,000 - $125,000
