Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is bidding on a NAVWAR PEO C4I program out of San Diego and contingently hiring for a Senior Contracts Management Analyst with current TS/SCI eligibility.
This position will manage and support a high level NAVWAR program while providing contract management services to assist with the development of contract strategy, planning, and administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Supports the development of contract strategies such as conducting and documenting market research with support to the preparation of Procurement Requests (PR), Modification Requests (MR), Requests for Proposal (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), Statements of Objectives (SOO), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Work (SOW), Service Level Agreements (SLA), Acquisition Plans (AP), Justification and Approval (J&A), Determination of Finding (D&F), and Procurement Planning Conferences (PPC) materials. Track, distribute and maintain program and project contractual data to include deliver orders, amendments PRs, MRs and CDRLs. Attend, participate, support, analyze, provide input, develop, prepare and report on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, on all planned and ongoing procurement activities.
- Advise on contracting approaches and strategies.
- Assist the Government with conducting and documenting market research and market surveys of programs and projects that do not include service contracts.
- Prepare DD-1423 forms and determine appropriate Data Item Descriptions for each deliverable.
- Track DoD, Navy, Naval System Management Activity (NSMA), NAVWAR, and PEO C4I Contract Policy Updates and assist in ensuring that all contracts adhere to current policies.
- Track contract actions and aschedules and provide a weekly status report for all contracts. Assist in contract tool development, create and maintain contract libraries, portal sites, assist in contract-related formal and informal Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) events, develop and document contract related processes and procedures, and create briefs and training materials.
- Incorporate Sensitive Activities Intelligence Related Contracting (SAIRC) and other relevant guidance for development of Procurement Initiation Documentation (PID), Purchase Request (PO), and funding documents (FD), required by the PCO.
Requirements
Experience
- Ten (10) or more years of recent and relevant experience managing contracts within Navy and other DoD organizations.
Education
- Bachelors Degree in any discipline
Desired Requirements
- Familiarity with Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), and Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (PEO C4I).

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $63750 to $106250 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
