KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Crew Planning Specialist at New Pacific Airlines is responsible for leading and optimizing crew scheduling operations in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with various departments to ensure efficient daily operations, address scheduling challenges, and promote a positive work culture. The ideal candidate will have expertise in regulatory requirements, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence. Other responsibilities aligned with New Pacific Airlines include but are not limited to:

  • Safety Compliance: Ensure legal staffing and adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and company policies. Promote a positive Safety Culture and report hazards promptly.
  • Uphold integrity standards, maintain professional relationships, and act impartially in collaborations.
  • Ensure reliable operations through adequate reserve staffing, assist with monthly Bid Awards, and audit crew schedules for improvement.
  • Embody connectedness by working closely with Dispatch, Operations Control, and other departments to address irregular operations and enhance communication.
  • Demonstrate commitment by managing crew schedules effectively, adhering to corporate standards, and continuously improving scheduling practices.
Job Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication and computer skills, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Other qualifications include:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must maintain a high level of organizational skills and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be capable of working independently, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Must be diligent in understanding instructions and proactive in asking questions for clarity.
  • Must display a professional demeanor when collaborating with all departments and roles within the organization.
  • Must have excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel, with high attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test.
