Position Summary
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and following up on customer quotations and proposals. In this dynamic role you will work closely with Cost Engineering, Pricing Analysts, and Strategic Pricing manager to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of quotations. This is an excellent entry level job to learn about different business units, products, and Parker culture. At Parker, you will cultivate a strong culture by participating in High Performance Teams and operating in a LEAN environment.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Prepare, manage, and follow up on customer quotations and proposals promptly.
- Perform detailed contract review ensuring understanding of customer requirements before providing quotations.
- Interacting with customers & business team members in person, online and over the phone.
- Maintain accurate records of all quotation documents and customer interactions in the companys CRM system.
- Regularly update the quotation database and ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Provide administrative support to the customer service/ sales team and other departments as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all quotation processes.

- U.S. Citizenship or have U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
- GED or High School Diploma required.
- 0-1+ years of customer service and problem-solving skills preferred.
- Ability to work independently and within a team to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Ability to perform basic math, reading, writing and computer skills such as basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must demonstrate effective organizational and verbal/written English communication skills.
- Ability to work in a repetitive motion in an office environment at a computer.
