Essential Responsibilities:
As part of the GE aerospace team, The ECT will
- Support the marketing plans and value sells across Commercial Engine products and commercial strategy to support future of flight .
- Help Define our commercial product strategy options and propose product development recommendations to keep GE engine products differentiated in the market.
- Understand the commercial aviation market: Airframe, airline, lessor and competitor OEM dynamics as well as industry growth and regional dynamics.
- Development of business and marketing plans, including value proposition, for assigned products/offers/services; Involves participation in the evaluation of market research, market positioning, promotions associated with assigned scope.
- Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
- Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
- Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers.
- Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers.
- Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration preferably with Marketing minor
- Recent Graduate or graduate with less than 1 year of experience and passionate about Aerospace Industry
