ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Arrange all handling for passenger and cargo aircraft to include but not limited to all necessary permits (e.g. charters, landing, airport slots), parking, etc.
- Maintain and facilitate communications in a constantly changing environment.
- Learn to utilize computer systems and programs to perform duties efficiently and effectively.
- Showing reliability by ensuring proper event notification and reporting to aircraft dispatchers, crew controllers, MCC, and Stations while monitoring the short-term schedule to verify that the aircraft is handled efficiently and effectively.
- Encouraging connectedness by projecting a professional image as a representative of the Company to fellow team members.
- Communicates crucial information to OCC and all departments.
- Coordinates the arrangements for ground handling, catering, parking, payment method, and any other service needed for all ad-hoc and ACMI charter activity.
- Verify eligibility of aircraft to fly internationally.
- Ensure the safe and legal coordination of scheduled flights.
- Understand and interpret applicable regulations to ensure compliance.
- Provide external agents with all applicable aircraft documents required for trip planning.
- Ensures all above-and-below-wing personnel (both organic and contracted) adhere to procedures and policies in passenger service, ramp handling, aircraft cleaning and
- Submit and manage applications for airport slots and PPRs (prior permissions requests), landing, parking requests, and overflight permits when required for all flights.
- Work with US Customs and Broder Protection (USCBP) to arrange departure clearances and arrival reservations/inspections.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of professional experience in the Aviation industry (Preferred).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- Clear enunciation to communicate over the telephone.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize.
- Fluent with many different forms of computer software including, Microsoft Office Suite
- Quick learner and ability to be assertive.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in the English language
- Team player
- Able to work in a 24/7 operation, work on weekends and holidays. May be required to work additional hours due to flight schedule changes and arrangements.
- Required to be on call.
