Job Summary:

The incumbent in this position is a subject matter expert in reporting, analytics, onboarding employees, benefits and human resources information systems. Position interacts with employees at all levels of the organization and assists our new hires with the onboarding process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manages the onboarding process and paperwork requirements for new hires.
  • Collaborates with software vendors, and other users to ensure support in meeting the human resources objectives
    Ensures adherence to state and federal employment regulations (background check, relocation, etc.)
  • Responsible for the policy process, updates and/or new policies.
  • Prepares offer letters.
  • Produces several reports on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis
  • Assists employees with benefits questions and selection
  • Drafts, prepares, and distributes benefits information documents and communications
  • Assists in the preparation of annual open enrollment processes.
  • Conducts audits on a regular basis and prepares findings and reports
  • Maintains consistent compensation policies in accordance with our organizational objectives
  • Conducts research about emerging trends as well as best compensation and benefits practices
  • Responsible for the data integrity and accuracy of HR system, addresses and corrects discrepancies
  • Responsible for all reporting requests and analytics, supports our customers with all data requests.
  • Performs analysis, tests, and administrates HRIS computer system modules including, but not limited to, human resources, compensation, benefits, employee health, etc.
  • Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, and implements programs to meet special and on-going needs of human resources information
  • Revises existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
  • Other related duties assigned as needed

The successful candidate will have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • College education
  • Five (5) years experience in management. Human Resources experience.
  • Healthcare or Aviation experience preferred
  • HR Certification preferred
  • Advanced excel, word and report writing skills.
  • Customer service focus. Ability to work and effectively communicate with employees at all levels
  • Problem solving, ability to analyze issues and recommend best course of action
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong organization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well and effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of current employment rules and regulations
  • Hands on experience with HR software (HRIS)
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
  • This position is designated Safety Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.
