What our expectations are
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a passionate and experienced HR Business Partner (70) dedicated to the Business and Talent Management (30) Lead across all the Businesses to join our growing HR team in Bangalore. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our HR strategies that will impact our Growing businesses in Engineering; Supply Chain; Digital and Commercial Engine alongside driving the Talent management initiatives across all the Businesses. This role will be reporting to the PW India HR Leader in India. You will play a key role in driving business growth while maintaining strong fundamental and compliance standards in a fast-paced environment. Your strategic mindset and extensive knowledge in human resources will support our business objectives and enhance our workforce capabilities. Its a Individual contributor role.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implement and execute human resource strategies that will help your business customers to achieve their Growth and Sustainability objectives within the Country or Region.
- Enforce company policies that support a high-performance culture and a positive working environment. Oversee the Business HR budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources.
- Manage and Drive performance Impact Conversation across all the businesses in India which supports the PW Leadership Operating model and support embedding the RTX Leadership Behaviors as part of our CORE Culture. Provide coaching and development support to managers and employees. Identify and coordinate advanced training and professional development programs.
- Driving organizational transformation/improvement priorities as part of the Talent Management strategy in the Country for all businesses
- Model Employee Advocacy behavior and serves as a trusted advisor to front, mid-level leaders and employees
- Ability to synthesize data and information into actionable plans and effectively communicate/dialogue with leaders to facilitate their buy-in Talent Management and Talent engagement activities
- Daily work may be a blend of tactical vs. strategic work in support of the business
- Navigate a complex, dynamic, matrix work environment with HR partners in US; Canada and APAC
- Proactively engage and communicate with stakeholders to ensure practices are compliant to Country /State law requirements and policies.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, results-oriented with
- Proven experience in HR Partnering role who has worked in Matrix Organisation with Global Exposure
- Independently Supported Business with minimum Headcount of 300 – 400 people
- Deep expertise in HR Employee Lifecycle
- Strong understanding of Talent Management / Leadership and People development.
- Ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with all levels of leadership.
- Must be able to Adapt and be flexible in a rapidly changing environment
Qualification / General Experience:
- Minimum 12 -15 years of experience in HR Business Partnering preferably within Engineering; IT/ ITES or in High Paced growth Organization or Aerospace domain
- Master’s in business administration in HR from reputed institute
- Ability to think logically and independently to comprehend complex issues and identify opportunities to add value and deliver effective solutions
- Familiarity with Workday HRIS
- Proficient in MS Office - Excel and PowerPoint is advantage
