Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing day to day caseload service delivery of immigration needs. Manages requests from businesses and travelers with regard to immigration compliance and its corresponding systems and tools.
- Supplier management and caseload oversight. Using knowledge gained through experience, provide suppliers with relevant information and review supplier case management and responses. The immigration specialist will question suppliers when appropriate to ensure that the supplier assessment and feedback is relevant and applicable to Aerospace traveler and customer needs.
- Broadening knowledge of regulations, practices and procedures in the immigration field to execute functional policy/strategy.
- Understanding of Aerospace key business drivers, our customer base, our contractual obligations, and traveler population base; use this understanding to facilitate compliant and speedy immigration process and visa applications.
- Good interpersonal skills. Develop strong service relationships and serves as the interface between business contact and/or traveler and supplier. Explains technical information to others.
- Prepare and provide training to the business on topics which are of interest to and affect the business.
- Present on audit or inspection assistance to mitigate any potential risk.
- Responsible and accountable for delivering Immigration related solutions to travelers and business.
- Database management of employee documents while maintaining confidentiality.
- Database management of country requirements and documentation.
- Manages execution transitional planning:
Service Performance - Monitor KPI performance, variance commentary and actions to improve through established LEAN routines (e.g. MOR)
Quality Assurance - Lead key inputs/outputs to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Vendor Relationship Management - Strategically lead quarterly reviews with vendors to drive performance, strengthen collaborative efforts and delivery of shared success
Events - Ensure event readiness (operations, technology, audience)
Audit and compliance – Lead delivery of process changes for audit or compliance issues.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- This role requires advanced experience in Immigration and regional VISA requirements. Knowledge level is comparable to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- Fluency in English language.
