This position is for an entry level industrial factory planner with some test activities located in Goleta, CA. While working in as the industrial factory planner you will be faced with several tasks and exposed to numerous types of equipment. Some equipment ranges from early 90’s to the most current technology that enables us to perform these tasks. The role is very dynamic as it requires you to be able to rotate between different labs and buildings and those responsibilities can change on day-to-day basis. You will be tasked with running numerous projects involving factory improvements and future planning of lab layouts.
What You Will Do
- You will work closely with engineering and other support functions.
- Help develop manufacturing processes and give input for products.
- Help and give insight and propose changes.
- Conduct test and data collection within multiple TEST labs located throughout the campus.
- Work with onsite support to develop new projects
- Run & set up meetings that involve any future improvements or any new upcoming equipment layouts
- Some assembly required utilizing small hand tools
- Develop and create layouts of labs
- Conduct time studies of factory processes
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Familiar with process improvement and lean processes
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Experience in AutoCAD
- Experience in Final Test production testing in a manufacturing setting
- Manufacturing experience
- Experience working in a Dynamic environment, meaning must be able to rotate between labs and support numerous teams.
- Familiar with ESD, cleanroom & FOD protocol
- AutoCAD experience

The salary range for this role is 59,000 USD - 113,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
