Being a quality compliance engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all the products and processes comply with the aviation regulations and aerospace industry standards requirements. You will be part of integral team conducting internal audits and hosting external quality compliance audits from customers, regulatory bodies and third-party registrars. Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance to international management systems standards such as AS9100 CAA Part21 and Part145.
- Act as ISM (Independent Systems Monitoring) for Part21J
- Interpret and stay current with aviation regulations, including but not limited to CAA EASA, FAA.
- First line leader for a team of Quality professionals across multiple locations managing the companies QMS and quality systems.
- Lead development and continuous improvement of Quality business systems and procedures using lean methodologies.
- Manage the Company’s portfolio of external and customer Quality approvals ensuring all approvals are maintained and/or new additions made as required by new contracts.
- Update company expositions and QMS procedures to ensure compliance with regulations. Align Company QMS to customer quality requirements on existing and new contracts.
- Create internal audit plan covering company all approvals and certification and conduct internal audits to access compliance with QMS and aviation regulations.
- Follow-up on quality and safety actions and involve in root cause, correction actions identification, execution and verification.
- Provide training and support to employees and certifying staff on company quality procedures, standards, and aviation regulations.
Required Qualifications
- This role requires significant experience in Quality & Aviation Standards. Such as:
- Working knowledge of CAA Part 21J, Part21G and Part21J regulations.
- Emerging regulations related to SMS (Safety Management System)
- Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 requirements
- Experience in implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems
- An understanding of business systems architectures and structures
- Qualified Lead Auditor

- Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems using a wide range of recognised Quality tools and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, and execute improvement programs.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
