JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the VP, Human Resources, the Manager, Total Rewards is a key contributor to the design, implementation, and ongoing management of DFJs Total Rewards programs including benefits, compensation, incentive plans, and other compensation programs. The Manager, Total Rewards will collaborate with key stakeholders and senior leaders to develop, administer, and enhance employee satisfaction and retention through effective compensation and benefits strategies.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration or related major
- 8 years of progressive experience in total rewards (compensation and benefits)
- Strong analytical and PC skills (MS Office-including advanced Excel skills, HRIS systems/reporting)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to interface effectively with all levels of employees within the organization.
- Able to exercise sound judgment in the handling of confidential material and information.
- Strong organizational and planning skills

- SHRM certification

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Compensation:
- Ensure current compensation models are internally equitable, externally competitive and aligned with DFJs business objectives.
- Conduct spanet research and surveys to benchspan positions and make merit & compensation budget recommendations.
- Analyze job descriptions, FLSA classifications and organization structure to maintain internal equity.
- Manage the annual performance and compensation review processes.
- Develop education and communication materials regarding the Total Rewards program for managers and employees.
- Generate reports and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of compensation programs.
- Assist in the implementation of the compensation and performance modules within HRIS (UKG/UltiPro). Become subject matter expert for these modules ongoing.
Benefits:
- Oversee the proper administration and implementation of the companys health and retirement benefit plans (medical, prescription, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pension and 401(k) plans) in accordance with company policy and procedures while ensuring legal compliance.
- Point of contact for annual plan audits (401k & pension)
- Handle annual 5500 filings.
- Manage and collaborate with benefit vendors.
- Maintain plan documentation (SPDs, SBCs, Plan Highlights, Benefits Guide, etc.)
- Plan and project manage the annual enrollment process.
- Oversee COBRA administration, ACA (1095s) production and HIPAA compliance.
- Manage additional benefits programs including Tuition Reimbursement, Relocation and employee discount programs.
- Subject matter expert for the benefits module with HRIS (UKG/UltiPro).
- Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws.
- Generate reports and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of benefits programs.
NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) :
- As part of the Corporate HR team, this role will support other HR programs and initiatives. These project-based initiatives will vary from time to time but as examples may include, the occasional evaluation and administration of the Companys Service Award program, Paid Time Off Policies, Leave Policies and Leave Management outsourcing, Employee Relocation Program, Work Opportunity Tax Credit, etc.
