Responsibilities
Work Location: Kinston, NC
Key Accountabilities:
- Provides advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects that affect organizational efficiency
- Applies process management and process improvement techniques to resolve production concerns
- Uses problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills to develop innovative solutions to manufacturing problems
- Gathers data, conducts analyses, and develops recommendations for implementation of new systems and processes
- Facilitates work teams, provides necessary training, and leads problem resolution and process improvement
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience within aerospace manufacturing operations and/or a comparable manufacturing operations
- Strong Leadership with Projects and Initiatives
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Proven RCCA(Root Cause and Corrective Action) process skills and experience
- Subject matter expert with minimum 5 years’ experience in composites bonding with composite materials and manufacturing processes.
Preffered Qualifications:
- Requires educational credentials meeting the Spirit classification standards for engineers and typically 5 to 8 years of experience in an engineering classification / position or a Masters degree with 3 to 6 years of experience in an engineering classification
