*This is an indefinite contract position based in Melbourne, Florida*
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting all aspects of video production for Embraer Executive Jets business unit: from the video conceptualization, script development, professional shooting, to identifying and acquiring assets, hiring vendors (as needed), directing vendors (as needed) and final video production and editing. Focus will be primarily on video editing.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES
Operates video cameras, on location or in the studio
Collects a-roll and b-roll footage
Sustain and guide the video creative process. Supports the team throughout the creative and production process, which may include finding interview subjects, developing storyboards, creating video graphics and suggesting creative elements to video production
Create videos for advertising purposes, video documentaries, video testimonials
Develop social media content, including Reels and all forms of social media video content
Edits and assembles final visual/audio material; ensures brand consistency; responsible for the technical quality of end product, insert graphics and text in the videos
Determines what camera equipment is necessary and obtains equipment
Transports, sets up, and operates production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and studio productions
Operate camera, audio and lighting equipment used to produce high-quality, digital media content for our global audience.
Develop knowledge of media production tools and best practices
Maintain all files in digital asset management system
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Must be able to meet assigned deadlines
Must be able to travel up to 10 of the time
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education:
BS/BA Degree or higher from accredited college or university in Business, Communications, Multimedia/videography, or related field.
Experience:
5+ years of video production experience – Aviation or Automotive related preferred
Experience in still photography is a plus
Graphic design experience a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Customer focused with good relationship building skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers.
Knowledge of executive aircraft and the executive aviation market
Professional appearance and demeanor
Must possess good written and oral presentation skills and the ability to communicate ideas effectively to both customers and senior management.
Proficient computer skills with use of Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop
Effective time management and organizational skills; ability to become involved in a number of projects in a fast paced work environment.
Portuguese and/or Spanish is a plus.
Working Conditions / Environment/ Special Requirements
Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, State and Federal regulations.
Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.
Frequently travel to Customer locations is required.
