Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalency.
- 3 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
- This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Proficient in use of basic computer applications.
- Ability to ink Stamp.
- Advanced understanding of blueprint specification and process sheet interpretation
- Knowledge of and ability to perform ERP transactions.
- Participate in and support team initiatives.
- Receive guidance from Level 3 and/or 4 employees.
- Compliantly complete all written and/or electronic labor tracking documentation.
- Communicate with team to ensure all team members are aware of new processes and/or ideas, etc.
- Must be able within a reasonable time, produce & verify that piece parts are acceptable and produced within print & specifications.
- Operate all marking equipment.
- Obtain serialization from Oracle per specific customer applications.
- Provide as needed marking rework for changing customer applications.
- Ability to work with Technical Support teams such as Equipment Services, ME’s, NPD, Quality and understand and support customer requirements.
- Ability to recognize issues, troubleshoot and escalate them to appropriate support staff when needed.
- Ability to set up all jobs including etching, viberopeen, dot peen, laser, etc.
- Ability to prioritize work based on customer needs as well as work FIFO.
- Keep all shift operators informed on special problems involving operation or set up.
- May assist with proto-type or first-time builds.
- Perform operator level preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Proactively work to improve efficiency and quality of products.
- Utilize proper PPE, safety equipment, and follow safety procedures.
- Understands and abides by the GE Leadership behaviors.
- Reports problems to appropriate resource and/or Coach.
- Exemplifies and coaches’ others on the GE Leadership behaviors.
- Other duties as required.

Physical Demands:
- Ability to continuously use hands and fingers in repetition.
- Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, twist, crouch, squat, climb, and/or balance.
- Ability to continuously sit; ability to occasionally lift to 25 lbs.; ability to push/pull up to 25 lbs.

The pay for this position is $21.00/hour. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 2/26/24.
