Description:Enterprise Talent Acquisition is seeking a Military Relations Specialist to provide strategic leadership for the development and implementation of the organization’s Lockheed Martin Heroes programs. The Military Relations Specialist will drive Lockheed Martin’s Heroes strategy by leveraging their extensive military network, engaging with prospective candidates, and pipelining top talent from the military community. Beyond the exciting and compelling work, this is a fully remote role that falls under our 4/10 work schedule: you’re off EVERY Friday!
What You Will Be Doing
The successful candidate will be experienced in finding, engaging, and screening prospective candidates through various recruitment channels, including in-person/virtual events, networking, and utilizing sourcing tools. In addition, the Military Relations specialist will collaborate with LM’s military relations team across all of Lockheed Martin’s Business Areas to support and promote the LM Heroes programs.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Collaborate with the recruitment team to develop, refine, and implement effective talent acquisition strategies targeting the military community.
• Develop and execute comprehensive plans to attract top military talent, through numerous SkillBridge and military fellowship programs including the creation of passive talent pipelines and proactive engagement strategies.
• Facilitate presentations and discussions aimed at influencing organizational leaders to actively participate in military hiring initiatives and promote the value of Veteran talent.
• Build and nurture relationships within the military community, fostering connections and partnerships to strengthen LM as an employer of choice among military professionals.
• Represent the company in various internal and external hiring forums, as well as with professional associations, diversity groups, and community service groups.
• Develop outreach and recruitment benchspans to track progress towards hiring targets.
• Track and analyze program data to influence talent attraction strategies and spending
• Lead and/or support in-person and virtual engagement and recruitment events

Basic Qualifications:
• Military recruiting and sourcing experience
• Experience creating talent sourcing strategies and building talent pipelines specific to military communities
• Demonstrated experience creating and presenting executive presentations
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Ability to travel up to 25
• Proficiency using talent acquisition tools and platforms: CRM and ATS systems (Avature, Kenexa BrassRing/ Talent Suite, Yello); SmartSheet; Canva, Tableau,
Desired Skills:
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively present and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Previous SkillBridge and Fellowship program management
• Experience working in a cross-functional organizational environment
• Experience with PA&T Suites, SuccessFactors and EightFold
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a recruiting professional within the military community, with a comprehensive understanding of military culture, roles, and skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $81,600 - $153,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $71,000 - $136,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
