Northrop Grumman is seeking experienced Navy Shipboard Surface Warfare Specialists that has the ability to quickly train up and work as the Afloat Training Group Training Scheduler in Norfolk, Virginia.
Our Team provides support to Afloat Training Group Atlantic and its subordinate commands to support shipboard training for ship’s during the basic phase. The qualified candidate will support the Operations and Training Directorates in scheduling, recording, and ensuring ship’s are meeting all requirements for qualification.
Job Duties:
-Schedule and deconflict Navy surface Unit Level Training in accordance with policies and procedures
-Host scheduling conferences for long range deconfliction with Atlantic-based Navy ships and stakeholders
-Provide scheduling and associated business rules training
-Coordinate manning for shipboard missions to ensure adequate staffing
-Provide quality assurance metrics to stakeholders with respect to training and staffing
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with 3 years’ experience Or a; High School Diploma / equivalent with 7 yrs. experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
- Navy shipboard surface warfare experience – Any surface warfare NEC
- Secret security clearance or higher
Preferred Qualifications:
Member of a shipboard Training Team
Knowledge of the shipboard training cycle
Experience in classroom and shipboard training
Salary Range: $59,600 - $89,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
