JOB SUMMARY
The Network and Scheduling Analyst is responsible for tracking the companys flight profitability across all routes, gathering and recording spanet data, forecasting, producing progress reports, and identifying opportunities to boost sales and profitability.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Analyze schedule plan for accuracy while assuring all information is in synch in all systems
- Prepare and transmit files and reports in appropriate formats to internal and external recipients
- Publish schedules to Navitaire, AIMs and GDS systems and communicate details company-wide
- Process schedule changes for all lines of business while maintaining close communication with all parties affected and identifying best reprotection options for all passengers
- Independently work with all stakeholders on schedule change requests
- Ongoing analysis of existing routes: use internal and external data sources to evaluate route performance, conduct drill-down analysis to optimize aircraft deployment, flight frequencies and timings to improve performance.
- Develop a short-term network plan for the current and upcoming schedule seasons: make recommendations on destinations and flight frequencies to maximize financial return.
- Management of the airlines slot portfolio: coordinate with airport slot coordinators and the FAA to improve and acquire new and existing slots
- Perform schedule performance analysis; improve schedule efficiency by identifying underperforming rotations within the schedule and analyzing opportunity cost
- Maintain and update reference tables in flight scheduling software
- Identify and assist in implementation of improved business processes and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree
- 2+ years of relevant experience working with revenue analytics
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field of study (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Business Administration, Science & Engineering)
- Travel industry experience
- Strong presentation and verbal skills with the ability to deliver arguments clearly and confidently
- Possess the ability to think laterally and make decisions
- Ability to work independently within a fast paced, target driven environment
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones photocopiers, filing cabinets.
