Job Description:

The Operations Technical Coordinator role is to support the effective management of the day to day operations of our business, HSE policies and ergonomic requirements with a ‘hands-on approach.

Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, the role holder shall administer the production organisation. This will include coordination of maintenance schedules, stock management and procurement of PPE, tooling and chemicals to support the team, SAP system management problem resolution, KPI management and production data base management.

•tNo direct reports.
•tResponsible for PPE, tooling and consumable spend ~ 40K Pa.
•tResponsible for management of tooling and calibration within the production area.
•tSupporting 30+ skilled manufacturers.
•tPhysically located on the line.
•tMove between modules/cells as needed.
•tResponsible for subcontracted activities from the production area.
•tEnsures cell administration is effectively managed in order to achieve plans, responsible for the management of shelf life limited products, addresses stores queries.
•tBudget responsibility for indirect procurement in the designated area, Responsible for tooling and miscellaneous procurement definition & requests, Responsible for Calibration recall and database management within the production area.

•tCoordination planning of rotas and overtime
•tERP / work instruction system support and trouble shooting including Report generation for module managers. Ensures production databases are up to date and escalations are managed within the production team.
•tEffective management of the training skills database and ODR processes.

•tTraining plans up to date and courses coordinated without significant disruption to production.
•tNo line stops due to time limited products or equipment.
•tAll O/T planned 3 days in advance with the team leader and approved by module manager.
•tData accuracy of more than 95 in all production databases.
•tQueries / correction in ERP system resolved in 24 hours.
Job Requirements:

•\tA strong manufacturing background is preferred.
•\tPrevious experience of leading and coordinating admin activities in a manufacturing environment.
•\tAble to champion and show full endorsement of business goals and objectives.
•\tDemonstrated high levels of ‘change energy' to continually motivate team towards change implementation.
•\tCapable of interpreting KPI's and developing appropriate actions.
•\tA keenly developed sense of right first time attitude towards quality of their work.
•\tGood communication & negotiation skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
•\tPositive attitude with ability to adopt ‘hands-on' approach when required.
•\tResourceful with flexible approach to deal with barriers in daily work.
•\tGood time management is key with excellent organisation and planning skills.
•\tSelf-motivated with a proactive working style
•\tGood knowledge of ERP and Microsoft applications particularly SAP, word and excel.
