As a Permit Coordinator you will be responsible for creating compliant permits and work packs to allow our contractual team to safely conduct emergency and planned repair work
Job Responsibilities
Ensures strict implementation of PTW rules at work locations.
Ensures all Environmental Health and Safety documentation is reviewed prior to contractor coming on site through Complyworks
Raise appropriate security passes for any contractor coming on site
Audits the Permit to Work Procedure and ensure compliance on a daily basis.
Providing a quality check on the completion of permits and certificates and ensuring all the necessary signatures have been obtained and informing of any potential conflicts.
Operating the Permit process to reflect the current status of all permitted work and isolations. This includes: maintaining the permit digital worksheet and High Risk Operations display board
Taking a lead role in ensuring the Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPs) is not compromised by the issue of conflicting permits.
Coaching and mentoring of staff when necessary.
Ensuring that PTW updates/changes are effectively communicated to all relevant personnel
Takes part and contributes meaningfully during PTW review meetings.
Ensures Permits are completed and signed off at the end of the existing work-scope.
Save all audit reports to specified Maintenance folder.
Insert all confirmed contractor attendance onto Maintenance Weekly Operating work-sheet
Qualifications/ Experience
Permit to Work and Lock Out Tag Out experience.
Experience in Hazard identification, Risk Management including Risk Assessments
Knowledge of Operations, Facilities and Maintenance activities.
Contractor supervision experience
