Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening for a Principal Logistics Management Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Orland Air Station, Norway.
Job Description
Your Mission will be to support O-Level maintenance and daily flight operations with the Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF).
Your duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Partners with the site Maintenance Operations Center (MOC), and Logistics Operations Center (LOC) to coordinate maintenance tasks, planning, personnel, and develop best practices and procedures in accordance with site and program policies.
Functions as the liaison between MOC leadership and technicians for all production efforts of the RNoAF squadron. Assists the NGC Site Lead in coordinating with customer and support agencies on all constraints, and risks that affect air vehicle availability (AVA).
Assist and advise with initiation of Action Requests (AR) outside the scope of planned maintenance tasks, tracks maintenance actions, and updates MOC on maintenance progress.
Collaborates with maintenance management on maintenance surges and scheduled changes to support flight operations.
Participates in maintenance meetings with the MOC/LOC.
Addresses/ resolves problematic maintenance complexities that arise in the completion of maintenance actions or flight operations.

Basic Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 9 years experience in fixed wing aviation maintenance. Will consider a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university relevant to the aviation industry such as, Aeronautics, Aviation Business Administration, Aviation Maintenance, Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace and Occupational Safety, Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace Physiology, Safety Management, Organizational Leadership, Business Management, or Business Administration, and 5 years of applied experience; or a masters degree and 3 years of applied experience.
Demonstrated experience supervising and assigning program workloads as well as duties for entire shifts of workers performing aircraft maintenance, repair, inspection, and modifications.
Three years minimum as a Maintenance or Production Control Supervisor.
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical data and blueprint drawings.
A current Secret or higher Clearance.
Ability to obtain Special Access Program clearance, as required.
Ability to provide temporary support to our other CLS locations and/or emerging deployments.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
Preferred Qualifications:
F-35 Aircraft Production Superintendent or Maintenance Controller experience.
U.S. Air Force, U. S. Navy, or U. S. Marine Corps experience with thorough understanding of F-35 Fighter Aircraft Systems and operations and JSF program requirements.
Experience with working multiple aircraft and programs simultaneously.
Familiarity with European Military Airworthiness Requirements (EMAR)
Experience identifying and procuring consumables, HAZMAT, tooling, and spare parts required for specific operations.
Highly skilled in using MS Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.
Salary Range: $73,300 - $109,900
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
