The Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Finance team has an immediate need for a Program Cost Control Specialist to support the Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Programs under the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) portfolio. The AEA portfolio falls under the Naval Power Business Unit and has annual revenue over $400M of both domestic & international business with exciting opportunities for future growth throughout the Long Range Plan. This role will provide overall financial support, analysis, and oversight to the NGJ LRIP programs under a growing portfolio with high visibility within the business.
Primary responsibilities will include, but not limited to, working and partnering with program managers and key functional stakeholders to ensure accurate weekly/monthly reporting, start-up activities (Baseline, Gate 5, PMX setup, etc.) on new awards, Estimate at Complete (EAC) & Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) management, financial forecasting, Performance Based Payment (PBP) billings, Monthly Integrated Program Management Data Analysis Report (IPMDAR) external reporting, and supporting strategic meetings with program leadership.
What You Will Do
- Program start up and implementation support inclusive of contract modification processing, project setup, and NWA management .
- Prepare weekly & monthly reports to include LRE development, internal & external EV requirements, & financial variance analysis.
- Manage the coordination, development, and delivery of monthly financial CDRLs .
- Cost and schedule control analysis – Maintaining compliance within EVMS
- Preparation and Analysis of Quarterly EACs including cost analysis, risks, and opportunities.
- Generate and Support BCR/SWA Process.
- Ad hoc AEA program control support, as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience with Earned Value, Estimates at Complete.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with IPMR / IPMDAR reporting.
- Demonstrated experience with current Raytheon financial tools/systems (APEX, BW, RPLAN).
- Excellent critical thinking, program solving, and resolution-making skills
- Ability to meet critical deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and implement process improvement.
- Deep interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate to all levels of organization.
- Independent, self-motivated, and highly organized.
- Prior Program Control Experience a plus.

- This position is grade P3, Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls.
- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 85,000 USD - 179,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
