Summary
The Civil Power Production Planner is responsible for converting the Master Production Schedule (MPS) set by the Central Planning team into an achievable Production Plan for the Civil Power Value Stream. The Production Planner must consider capacity and constraints and hold the Production team accountable for execution of the plan. This role requires analysis of a 13-week window, and sometimes further, working closely with Material Planners, Sourcing, Operations, and other key functions.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesConversion of MPS to Value Stream Production Plan across multiple build levels
Support MPS creations and reschedules aligned to business strategy
Create Production Plan with consideration of process, machine, and resource capacity
Drive actions associated to key deliverables on Work in Progress (WIP) and Inventory management
Work closely with cross-functional team to generate build forecasts and Clear to Launch (CTL) statuses
Develop Production Planning tools and calculations, whilst contributing to Site standardisation
Communicate the status of the Plan to all levels of the business
Ability to balance multiple Key Performance Indicators (KPI) on delivery, inventory, and cost
Work with Materials Leader to deliver on personal priorities associated to KPI’s
