Job Description SummaryAs a Program Planner, you will execute planning and scheduling activities
supporting the Improved Turbine Engine Engineering & Manufacturing Development
program. This position will play a critical role in the monitoring schedules throughout testing and other critical stages of the engine program.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the Integrated Master Schedule Leader in developing and implementing best practices and standard work scope templates to enhance efficiencies in program execution
- Create, maintain and status program integrated master schedules for T901 engine programs
- Work directly with assigned the engineering Control Account Managers and mentor on best scheduling and basic EVM knowledge
- Monitor schedules for compliance within regulated guidelines
- Support monthly customer program reviews and monthly deliverable reports
- Propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems.
- Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis
- Support monthly IPMDAR products to customer
- Perform DCMA 14 pt assessments
- Support the Integrated Master Schedule Leader in running and analyzing driving paths within the IMS
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Project Planning, Program Management and/or Program Scheduling
- US citizenship required
Desired Characteristics
- Experience in Open Plan or similar robust scheduling software
- Understands how to run and analyze a critical path in scheduling software
- 2 years experience with Earned Value Management
- Execute and analyze a DCMA 14 pt assessment
