The Collins Aerospace Digital Technology Program Management Office is currently searching for a Project Cost Analyst to join our team. The candidate will work in COBRA and SAP to manage and report project financials.  Ideally, the candidate will also help solve problems and drive process improvements.  This position requires technical financial and accounting skills, along with the ability to understand capital and expense guidelines.  The position also requires the ability to understand how Collins Aerospace finance policies apply to current business situations.

** This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote. **

What YOU will do:

  • You will network with project managers and Digital Technology Service Owners / Leaders. 

  • You will have good understanding of project cost management (ETC & EAC), system tool usage, such as SAP, and Microsoft products.

  • You will perform analysis of the project cost estimates and assumptions utilized in preparing the estimates.

  • You will identify capital vs expense items for projects and prepare a capital authorization request when needed.

  • You will create project investment summaries and assist project managers with variance analysis.

  • You will work with DT finance and Collins business units to obtain actuals for projects.

  • You will function as a professional with knowledge of industry practices and how to apply principles, concepts, and standards to resolve a range of issues.  Plans own activities in accomplishing objectives under general supervision.

Qualifications you must have:

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program,

  •  Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

  • Experience with COBRA and/or SAP.

  • Strong financial background related to IT projects.

  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
