Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Management Specialist to join our Quality Management Office team. As a QMO Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving consistent testing practices across our organization. You will lead the development and implementation of testing guidelines, establish best practices, provide technical guidance, and support quality maturity improvement for Product teams. Join us and contribute to creating a culture where quality is a responsibility for all. 

Responsibilities

  • Create & maintain guidelines, templates and tutorials using different media mediums.
  • Promote and Present QMO center of excellence materials to Product and Project teams through announcements and learning sessions.
  • Implement quality metrics reports for Product teams and guide the team in adopting processes to ensure the data is accurate.
  • Conduct assessments of quality metrics, process, and trends of Product teams.
  • Summarize and report on quality trends to various levels of leadership.
  • Present Quality improvement opportunities to leadership and support the implementation of those improvements where applicable.
  • Summarize and present quality improvements and achievements within Product or Project teams to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Review Test artifacts such as Test Plans and Test summaries produced by Project or Product teams.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership for teams adopting testing processes or practices that are new for them.
  • Collaborate with other members of the CoE team to share knowledge, contribute to CoE initiatives, and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Provide hiring support to Product/Project teams for Testing roles.
  • Evaluating, managing and provide training of testing tools that support the testing process. 
  • Continuously evaluating and improving testing methodologies, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create reports and dashboards that provide insights into defect and testing trends.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years professional experience in a leadership role
  • 3+ years’ experience creating Testing process and driving their adoption.
  • 8+ years’ experience in a Senior Test Analyst role and on large scale projects.
  • Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience creating Test artifact templates such as Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Summaries and defect reports.
  • Experience with ALM tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Test case management tools and organization of test case libraries/suites/cycles.
  • Experience with creating onboarding material of Testing approaches and Guidelines.
  • Proven experience as a Test Specialist Lead, with a focus on process.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and provide practical solutions.
  • Experience in assessing test needs, recommending solutions, and providing guidance to teams.
