We’re looking for a Quality Operations Specialist to join PDS Tech Commercial in Fort Worth, TX. In this pivotal role, you’ll play a crucial part in maintaining and advancing the integrity of cutting-edge rotorcraft and aviation solutions, ensuring that we meet the highest safety and regulatory standards. Your Impact:As a Quality Operations Specialist, you’ll be a key player in maintaining, updating, and revising Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, ensuring compliance with FAA regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll work directly with cross-functional teams, develop training materials, and influence the overall success of critical aerospace programs.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:QMS Maintenance & Development: Revise and update QMS procedures, including those related to repair stations, training manuals, and technician rosters.
Compliance & Training: Ensure all repair stations and employees are compliant with FAA standards and maintain updated training records.
Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to implement corrective actions and track quality escapes, contributing to risk mitigation and process improvements.
Procedure Creation & Updates: Create and revise standard procedures, including for random drug testing, warehouse integration, and cross-functional teams engaged in improvement initiatives.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams, external partners, and government agencies to ensure seamless coordination across all quality processes.
You’ll be working on impactful projects like the 525 program, developing conformity packages, and driving compliance across the company’s certified repair station network.
Required Qualifications:Education: Associates degree or relevant technical experience/training in lieu of a degree.
Experience: 7-10 years of experience in quality operations, with specific experience in 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Stations and quality management systems.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Project & Visio).
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of FAA regulatory requirements, corrective action processes, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience interacting with both internal teams and external customers (including government agencies).
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and risk evaluation/mitigation.
Familiarity with Brain Shark training systems.
Knowledge of FAA Roster systems for repair stations.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $48.00 per hour
