The Winslow LifeRaft team is focused on innovation, safety and cost efficiency in the Manufacturing as well as Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) of Liferafts. The Quality System and Compliance discipline will oversee the processes, procedures, requirements, contracts and metrics to ensure the organization’s compliance. This unique position evaluates the compliance and effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) and programs while aligning with regulatory standards to ensure reliability of product.

What You Will Do:
Manage the implementation and maintenance of Quality procedures, Travelers, and metrics supporting compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
Manage the implementation and maintenance of MRO Quality procedures, Travelers, and metrics supporting compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
Provide guidance on, and explanations of, policies, government regulations and agency guidelines to ensure compliance with external standards.
Manage processes, standards and plans for the implementation of minimum standards and utilization of tools and methods to ensure effectiveness of existing quality processes and sustain quality performance improvements.
Manage quality compliance audit processes (Internal/External), providing guidance and input to auditors at all stages for both OEM and MRO.
Ensures and supports customer requirement flow down into processes. This will include APQP and other references to industrial standards.
Works with other functions to ensure processes are compliant, efficient and can deliver to customer requirements.
Oversee reviews of procedures and metrics which impact quality to ensure compliance with internal standards.
Perform product, process, and quality audits and review for acceptance.
Support external audits such as customer and certification when related to the QMS.
Review quality data and determine if all products and processes are aligned with regulatory standards, Industry standards, and internal procedures.
Recommend corrective actions and process re-engineering by coordinating and collaborating with cross functional teams.
Prepare, developing and maintain Quality documentation, presentations, and reports.
Manage open corrective actions and overdue within organization using ETQ System.
Ballot review for Winslow input and distribution.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
Prior Quality experience within an Manufacturing Industry.
AS9100D Lead Auditor Certification preferred.
FAA CFR Part 145 and Part 21 experience.
Experience with Microsoft Visio.
Training/experience as an Internal Auditor.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
