Job Title: RECORDS SPECIALIST

Department: QC Records

Reports To: Aircraft / Engine Records Supervisor

Shift: Full Time - 1st Shift

SUMMARY:

Responsible for the auditing, entering, scanning and filing of maintenance documentation. Responsible for certain assigned duties which are a regulatory function.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Auditing Maintenance documentation to ensure the system entry directly reflects the work performed.

- Generating system entries to reflect maintenance actions or correcting existing erroneous entries.

- Perform various system entries.

- Document scanning and electronic indexing/filing.

- Maintain records filing and retention as per company retention policy.

- Perform any other duties as assigned by the QC Records Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Must have a good working knowledge of computers.

- Prior auditing or data entry experience.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

- Have at least 1 year experience in office administration.

- HS Diploma or GED.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using calculators.
