Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is currently bidding on a contract to provide flight training support services for the U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASAOC) We are seeking highly qualified Armament Specialist / Instructor to support USASOAC’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (160th SOAR) and the Special Operations Aviation Training Battalion (SOATB).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Provide academic instruction and hands-on training on the operation and maintenance of the M134 Minigun system. The Contractor shall provide on-site maintenance support during range operations.
- Coordinate all aspects of aircraft weapons systems training. The Contractor shall conduct repairs of aircraft weapons systems. The Contractor shall provide small arms support. The Contractor shall schedule and perform preventative and organizational maintenance up to Direct Support level maintenance and repair on aircraft weapon systems.
- Maintain records on aircraft weapon systems. The Contractor shall issue and receive aircraft weapon systems. The Contractor shall secure and control aircraft weapon systems in security areas. The Contractor shall conduct training and instruction in support of ARSOAC Armament Maintenance POI. The Contractor shall drive military vehicles and fly on ARSOAC aircraft as required.

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum four years experience as an Aircraft Armament Repairer (Army MOS 15J- Aircraft Armament System Repairer)
- Capable of lifting, moving, and carrying helicopter armaments, ammunition, explosives, and their components.
- Must be Army ITC qualified per TRADOC Reg 350-70
- SECRET Clearance

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $70000 to $130000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
