Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking an experienced Security Specialist to support Project Manager Cyber and Space (PM C&S) with program and operations security analytical support. The successful candidate will assist PM C&S programs to ensure adequate measures are in place to protect their technology, components, and information.
This is an opportunity to be involved in the newly formed PM Cyber & Space and be a part of the rapidly growing Cyber Infrastructure Product Office responsible for key capabilities within the offensive cyber operations world.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing as the assistant Security Manager for the Information and Personnel Security program.
- Coordinating visitor security and control
- Operations Security actions (OPSEC)
- Communication Security (COMSEC)
- Providing Security education including preparation and presentation of briefings on security programs and administrative services to PM personnel
- Resolving administrative issues with all aspects of security management
- Maintain and control government databases
- Interpretation of DoD Instructions and Army Regulations
- Support for security and facility inspections
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements
Requirements
- Familiarity with requirements of DoDI 5200.39 - CPI Protection within DoD
- Ability to successfully complete governmental/corporate security training.
Clearance
Education and Experience
- High Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 3 years supporting security aspects of program acquisition
- 3 years coordinating visitor security and control, and all security education requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some college preferred for education
- Previous service within a military security environment is desirable
Other Qualifications
- Ability to work in office/field/lab environments
- Ability to travel 10

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,000 to $115,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
