Overview of role:
The Senior Analyst, Product Steering is responsible for managing and executing the governance and processes of the Product Management portfolio. This role drives excellence and efficiency in our standards for managing strategic and business initiatives that affect all Digital Products, as well as the Design and Delivery teams. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will lead and organize forums and meetings to prioritize business needs and achieve optimal business outcomes in a practical and efficient manner.
Key deliverables include:
- Key driver in shaping the governance and success measurement strategy for our Digital products.
- Lead and support the digital product management governance and cadence (product management committee and annual business reviews).
- Define standardized processes and documentation for product decision-making, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.
- Manage the overall governance process, aiming to keep these processes lean, pragmatic, effective and efficient. Looking for ways to continuously improve the governance and processes.
- Oversee development of Product development life cycle PDLC.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive metrics framework to assess product performance, adoption, and business impact.
- Build strong partnerships across the business and throughout the digital team, work collaboratively with Digital team members, IT, business unit stakeholders.
- Gather and analyze data to drive insights for decision-making and continuous product improvement.
- Own the end to end performance reporting process to ensure visibility into key objectives and the progress of key results.
- Builds and manages reports, data, dashboards to manage the digital product portfolio resources, ensuring resource capacity is managed and understood.
- Develop and maintain a department dashboard to ensure visibility into key objectives and the progress of key results.
Experience and qualifications:
- Requires a minimum of 6-8 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Certificate in Product Management is valued.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree (Technical/Business/Scientific).
- Experience implementing governance structures within a digital product organization.
- Has proven experience with product management frameworks.
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills with experience in collaborating with all levels of an organization.
- Is curious, thoughtful, organized with great priority and time management skills.
- Strong understanding of product success metrics, data analysis, and performance measurement methodologies.
