Are you a passionate finance professional looking to make a significant impact?  Collins Aerospace Missions Systems is seeking a Sr Analyst Program Cost Controls finance professional to support the Starburst Program.  This team is developing cutting edge technologies to keep our warfighter safe and gain a competitive advantage over our adversaries. 

The Senior Analyst will play a critical role in driving the Starburst financial success through insightful financial analysis, strong Earned Value management and strategic recommendations.  In this position, the Senior Analyst will collaborate closely with the Program Manager, CAMs and cross-functional leadership to understand all financial aspects of the Starburst Program. The position will work closely with the CAMs and Scheduling to establish a thorough Earned Value management.

This position will be a Hybrid position, it will be necessary to go into Starburst SCIF 2-3 days per week

What You Will Do

  • Provide finance support to successfully satisfy programmatic and financial organization objectives for programs including completing quarterly Estimate-At-Completes (EACs) and monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LREs).
  • Develop program Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) for earned value / project management purposes.
  • Perform analysis of program cost and schedule performance, identifying trends, and providing information to Project Leadership Team (PLT) and corrective action implementation
  • Provide cost, schedule, funding monitoring and analysis support to the Program team and management, utilizing standard company tools, & in compliance with standard processes to include:
  • On time financial maintenance & forecasting for new & existing work, Estimates at Complete, R&O management, Variance Analysis reporting, Interorganizational Transfers & associated work authorizations
  • Proactively manage monthly invoices, unbilled/billed aging issues. Preferably with experience in a cleared setting
  • Monitor costs and manpower labor on a weekly basis to ensure charges are correct and are within scope
  • Support proposal & gate reviews, prepare business cases & return on investments analysis as needed
  • Ownership, consolidation, analysis of the programs’ financial forecasts & financial presentations to leadership
  • Provide inputs for monthly forecast for orders, sales, profit, & cash flow, & perform the same effort for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) & Strategic Financial Plan (SFP)
  • Identify/quantify R&Os to ensure that the team & management are informed of the impact

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Current or prior Earned Value Management experience
  • Accounting and/or finance experience working with different government contract types and working knowledge of FAR/DFARS
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, advanced proficiency with Excel 
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance is required 
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance ​

  • Experience providing financial analytics and business support for contract activities
  • Detailed understanding of key financial metrics
  • Experience using SAP, APEX EV, PMX, BW, EDIT+

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
