Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Industrial Security Specialist to lead and work closely with a team of junior Industrial Security Specialists assigned to support a diverse platform with both domestic and international components located in Oklahoma City, OK

This position will involve daily engagement with program leadership, acting as the primary security focal point for interpreting and implementing government security requirements in support of domestic and international contracts.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Implements and maintains contractual security documentation to include DD254s and Security Aspects Letters for multiple contracts.
  • Performs Sub-Contractor Management to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements.
  • Answers a variety of inquiries to complex problems, using extensive knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 and an understanding of established policies and procedures.
  • Performs security inspections to ensure security policies/procedures are followed in the handling and storage of classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
  • Identifies deficiencies, developing, and implementing corrective action and communicating results to security management and customers.
  • Oversees or leading security investigations to include security infractions and violations.
  • Conducts Administrative Inquiries on personnel, processes, and situations in accordance with established operating procedures to determine level and scope of non-compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
  • Drafts and submits complex international classified transportation and hand carry plans.
  • Establishes and implements a security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property, and information.
  • Performs work with minimal direction and exercising considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
  • Regularly contributes to the development of new job practices, techniques, and standards. Recognized as a job expert within the department/organization.
  • Provides leadership, mentoring and quality assurance for team members.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

This position requires ability to obtain Special Program Access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5&43; years of industrial security experience
  • 5&43; years of experience supporting NISP, SAP, and/or SCI
  • 3&43; years of experience Leader experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3&43; years of experience working with International Programs, Foreign Military Sale (FMS) or Direct Commercial Sale (DCS)
  • 10&43; years of experience with NISPOM

Typical Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master&43;8 years related work experience, 14 years related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel:

This position may require travel up to 10 of the time.

Summary Pay Range: USD $90,100 - $121,900
