Position Summary
We are immediately seeking an F/A-18 E/F Subject Matter Expert to join our motivated Advanced Capabilities and Expert Solutions (ACES) Division and support our F/A-18E/F Hardware training team in Lemoore, CA.
The ACES Division supports Tactical Air's mission by delivering world-class training, products, and support directly to fleet aviators. As part of ACES, the Hardware team provides world-class training and sustained support on combat systems and crypto to warfighters so that they can be successful in combat. The Hardware training program is dynamic and challenging, meeting the fleet's needs for Subject Matter Expertise in Tactical Data Links, Radios (SATCOM/SATURN), IFF, EW Systems, JTT-R, LITENING, IRST, and emerging hardware systems in development.
Responsibilities
- Research, process, and distill complex technical material for meaningful and engaging presentations to fleet Naval Aviators and Maintenance professionals
- Conduct professional, in-person training to large and small groups of aircrew with varied experience levels
- Cross-train and assist other priority efforts within ACES
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline; advanced degree preferred. A combination of background, education, and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of eight years experience with F/A-18E/F combat systems.
- Familiarity and expertise with F/A-18E/F mission planning and training systems.
- Travel (20%) required to various work sites throughout the U.S.
- Valid state driver's license.
- U.S. Citizenship with an active and current Secret Clearance with SAP eligibility.
Desired Experience/Skills
- Extensive operational Strike Fighter experience and graduate-level credentials in Strike Fighter employment, instruction, and/or flight test.
- Experience with various F/A-18E/F operational squadrons, test squadrons, program offices, and tactical centers of excellence
- Familiarity or experience with the U.S. Armed Forces and Department of Defense (DoD) federal contractors and the aerospace, defense, or commercial aviation industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to conduct professional, in-person training to large and small groups of aircrew with varied experience levels
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines, and standards on assigned projects
Work Authorization
- Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States and complete a U.S. government I-9 Form
