The Opportunity:

IMP Group is searching for a Service Desk Analyst to join our IT department. Under the direction of the Manager, IT Operations, the Service Desk Analyst will be an integral part of a team responsible for supporting IT applications and services, including issue resolution and technical incident management.

What You Will Do:
  • Manage incoming support requests and route to appropriate support groups as required
  • Set up new users and facilitate password resets, provision user access in enterprise applications
  • Work with colleagues and partners to ensure services remain operational and optimized
  • System monitoring and reporting
  • Security updates and hardening
  • Mobile device management
  • Review effectiveness of existing processes and propose improvements
  • Support users with variety of technical issues; recording and escalating incidents as required
  • Monitor and manage data protection solution and media retention schedules
  • Coordinate system maintenance schedules and communications
  • Analyze trends and customer feedback to continuously improve customer experience
  • On call for service outages

What You Need to Succeed:
  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology or comparable experience
  • Industry certifications in Microsoft, ITIL, or related considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows OS, Office 365, Computer Hardware
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ITIL processes is an asset
  • Eligibility for Canadian government security clearance
  • Demonstrate professionalism through communication and overall conduct
  • Customer focused – Patient, approachable, and able to adapt
