Simulation Analyst Intern-Lake Forest, CA
Panasonic Avionics Corporation seeks motivated Simulation Analyst Intern to join our growing Hardware Engineering team in our Lake Forest, CA, office. This paid internship will start in June and continue through August 2025, with an opportunity to potentially continue through the school year.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26- $38. The final offer amount may vary and is based on the candidates year in school. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
Responsibilities
- Students will be involved with documenting, testing, and simulation. They are work closely with senior engineers on understanding industry and regulatory requirements.
- Support HWE development for crash safety (like car crash safety testing), reliability vibration, and thermal temperature tests. Providing In-flight entertainment and engagement for air travel passengers.
Understand industry and regulatory requirements for aircraft and avionics.
Run PAC and industry Head Component Test (HCT) equipment (similar to car crash safety tests)
Understand monitor design and structural construction for interchangeability and upgradability for replacement parts (like upgrading USB-A type to USB-C type)
Qualifications
- Pursing Masters degree in Engineering
- Ability to commute and work in person at Lake Forest, CA office.
- Ability to study and understand detailed mechanical drawings and exploded views.
- Ability to multi-task between projects.
- Ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally to all levels of the organization
- Ability to work cooperatively with others, take verbal as well as written instructions and communicate instructions as needed.
