- Oversee digital assets including photography, video and 3D assets.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Digital Asset Management, Library Science, History or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 years of experience managing or working with a large scale Digital Asset Management platform.
Position Purpose:
Under the Senior Manager of Multimedia, the Senior Specialist Multimedia Assets oversees all file management & archiving processes for final photography, 3D and video assets created, controlled and distributed by the Multimedia Marketing department; in addition to the management and archiving of any other Marketing, Sales and Customer Support multimedia assets utilizing the DAM. The position will develop and manage Standard Operating Procedures for digital assets requiring archiving in approved systems and networks, oversee ingestion and delivery processes, innovate and advocate asset management best practices across Marketing and Sales organizations and lead user satisfaction efforts and training.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Manage the Gulfstream DAM database for Marketing, Sales and Customer Support departments to maintain accurate and accessible databases needed to support both operational and strategic goals.
- Support internal departments with implementing DAM process to improve asset archiving and efficient availability.
- Manage uploading, archiving and retrieval of final assets from Marketing, Sales and customer Support into the DAM.
- Oversee metadata schemas and standards for the creation, description, preservation, and access of digital assets.
- Manage permission-based DAM access user lists and accessibility.
- Recommend and implement best practices, technologies and processes for effective asset management.
- Develop and provide accurate asset audit reports to identify optimization; monitor and forecast server space needs.
- Maintain and apply quarterly updates to the Multimedia and Marketing Department asset management SOPs.
- Oversee vendor adherence to Completions and Refurbishment photography SOP.
- Provide digital and physical spaneting assets KPI reports to Multimedia and Marketing leadership.
- Develop and execute user training for efficient and proper asset processes, includes newsletters and live training.
- Oversee preservation, digitization and archiving of historic physical film and photo Marketing assets.
- Execute licensing, record keeping and deployment of Gulfstream branded assets internally and externally.
- Manage and track usage rights of all rights-managed and royalty-free stock photography Marketing assets.
- Maintain the model/employee photography releases database.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of Widen DAM, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SalesForce digital asset integration.
- Proficient in the use of file compression methodologies.
- Experience with production/post production workflows and camera to computer processes.
- High-level knowledge and understanding of Rights Management.
- High-level knowledge of special requirements managing physical photography and video assets.
- Experience developing user training curriculum, documents and videos.
- Experience developing effective metric reports that convey asset database KPIs.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities under tight schedules.
- A successful candidate will possess strong technology, planning, project management, and communication skills, in addition to an eye for detail. The individual must create, preserve, and manage digital and physical assets and collections, which includes applying digital preservation standards and intellectual property rights.
