As a Sr Project Management Specialist at Honeywell, you will be responsible for compliance, managing and optimizing the maintenance and operational aspects based on project and contract assignment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the functionality, safety, and sustainability of our facilities while adhering to industry standards and regulations. You will report directly to our Field Service Business leader. This position will initially require on-site presence five days/week. The position will eventually transition to a Sr Project Specialist, at that time the role will involve travel within Ontario, approximately 20-30 of the time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with cross functional team to implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Lead on-site the operation of facilities management.
- Ensure timely completion and adherence to Facility Asset Preventive maintenance plans.
- Manage and oversee the planning and scheduling of facility assets.
- Lead project management to ensure successful execution and delivery in accordance with HSE guidelines
- Facility Management and operation excellence.
- Oversee contract/project compliance, overlooking all aspects of the Government portfolio P3 end-to-end process and KPIs. The position will also work hand in hand with the facility manager, ensuring contracts compliance with the Honeywell End user obligations and monthly KPIs.
- Oversee Document Control SOPs between Honeywell, PCo, and the end-user.
- Create, oversee, and optimize budgets for maintenance activities, seeking cost-effective solutions while maintaining high facility standards.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of facility assets, planning for replacements or upgrades as needed, and ensuring the organizations assets are well-maintained.
- Ensure that all facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, manage permits and certifications, and stay informed about industry standards.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with established service levels.
- Implement energy-saving practices and sustainable initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Conduct regular inspections, quality assessments, and performance evaluations to ensure that maintenance work meets established standards.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans for facility-related incidents, including power outages, natural disasters, or other crises.
- Collaborate with various internal departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to understand their facility needs and provide timely updates on maintenance initiatives.
- Review and support the energy team requirement and gainshare energy conservation initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in facilities maintenance practices.
- Lead, guide, and develop talent within the team to foster professional growth and enhance overall organizational capability.
MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in facilities and preventive maintenance or project management
- Minimum of 5+ years of proven leadership and management skills.
- Immunization (including COVID-19 vaccination) as required by the customer and in accordance with the Public Health Act
- Ability to travel as needed, approximately 20-30.
